The focus for Fair Trade Fortnight 2007 in the ACT is involving supporters in hosting 'Fair Cuppa' events in their workplaces. 'Fair Cuppa' events are simple morning or afternoon teas that people organise in their workplace to promote fair trade and the purchase/consumption of Fairtrade certified tea and coffee - both at work and in the home. More details are below.
Additional to the 'Fair Cuppa' events, there are three other events being held during the Fortnight that you can participate in.

Cameron will use two recent examples of the operation of the Fairtrade certification system to illustrate the interaction of these nodes and how decisions are made and influenced - (1) deliberations to increase the Fairtrade price and premium for Fairtrade coffee for the first time in 15 years, and (2) the setting of Fairtrade cotton and garment standards.
