FTF07 Opening Celebration, Adelaide Showgrounds Farmers Market

Live bands, Soul Copoeira performers, "Act Now" roving performers, soccer competitions and demonstrations run by Africa United Allstars Football Club, and live cooking demonstrations by Amanda Daniels with fair trade products.

greeting cards will be available for sale at the Hawker St Gallery.
Proceeds from the sale of BMBW items are returned to Bangladesh to
support the 60 underprivileged women now participating in this project
- founded in June 2001.
Fairtrade tea and coffee from Rio will be supplied to the all those that come along and support the event.

A display unit with promotional material for fair trade products and the concept of fair trade will be on display alternately at City Cross, Gawler, Hallet Cove and Gilles Plains Shopping Centres throughout the fortnight, and will be moved around between the four allocated centres.

“Act Now” will be floating through the shop with their roving performing. The mobile barista will serve up free fairtrade coffee. Free fairtrade chocolate, either in fountain or fondue form will be on offer….
A nice pit stop on the way home or on the way out after work!
