Fairtrade Jobs & Volunteering

It’s a really exciting time to become part of one the fastest growing movements in Australia & New Zealand, enabling increasing numbers of producers to build sustainable businesses in the developing world.

Volunteering

We work on numerous projects and there are usually always opportunities for volunteers to assist in the various activities. From time to time we may also have paid opportunities, although these are rare.

Some general points about volunteering:

  • We ask for a minimum commitment of one day per week for two months for general volunteering. Some positions require more days.
  • We refund travel expenses.
  • The type of work available is rarely suitable for volunteers to carry out from home.
  • We regret that we are unable to assist non-NZ / non-Australian residents who are planning to volunteer during a short stay in New Zealand / Australia with     visa applications, finding accommodation etc.
  • We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
